Sub City (Basics)

Build A sub city as soon as you can.
The requirements are to be at senior prefect position and 100k of each resource.
First You occupy a flatland using a legend other than your main.
Go to your palace, go to wildlands, click on the flatland and click fortify.
If you have built a sub city still keep looking for a sub city better than yours.

If you have a high enough legend and good defences you can take the person's sub and keep it for yourself!

To do this you must first abandon your own sub then capture his.

NOTE: I captures a sub with a level 17 palace and all resource buildings 18-20, older sub was crap compared to this.

Capturing another sub city:
That's right you can take another players sub city and take it for yourself!! it becomes yours its not occupying, you own the city along with all its buildings.!
Requirements:
->No palace requirements for opponents sub city.
->Get loyalty to 0.
->To occupy it you must be above senior prefect and not have your own sub city (if you do and its weaker than opponents sub abandon it).


Sub city section (for advanced players as well):

Okay most people get excited when they get a sub-city and don't plan ahead. Read this and you will be a lot better off for the future.

Types of subcities (made these up myself):
->Note:if u want help from alliance in sub, build ally base there as well.
->Deathfactory: Max out garrisons and housing , have 5+ garrisons in your sub and 1 univ and fill the rest with villages.
->Cornumania: Food! Food! everywhere and more thank we can Think (0f).
Make lots of croplands, only 2 copper, 2 stone, 4-5 wood rest all crop land.
This is because later your army will be gobbling up food like obese people.. so station your army here so your capital's food supply doesn't get owned.
->Normal: Develop your sub city like your capital.. you will need to send many resources initially to your sub city for its development, because remember for your capital, novice tasks were fueling the resources.
Goldmine: Build houses, houses and more houses, dont forget to build a good stable and relay base.
(Houses are villages btw).
Note:
-> Deathfactory and cornumania should go hand in hand.
Note:If ur top player, build sub.

Another Note:

A balanced sub is good, make a subcity heavy on wood and low on stone and copper, wood:food should be 5:3, assuming your capital is heavier on food, this i find is best.

  2. yes but utility of gold goes down dramatically as the game progresses, and you will later regret having too much copper, which in any case you can get from other players, and when you have to field huge armies which require a lot of crops and wood

  3. well a good advice for begginers would be :
    when getting your first subcity ( not conquering from another player , but building it from scratch ) DO NOT SEND A BIG ARMY TO BUILD IT
    that's what i have done and at new formed city with a production of -5000food THINGS WON'T GO WELL

    Now i cant i send him back "cannot send governor to his own sub city"
    Advice: do not occupy using your main legend!

  8. Keeping large amounts of idle troops in a sub is quite foolish. If the sub is taken, you lose all your trops. It's good keep troops in your cap, and build crops in your cap instead, as your cap cannot be taken. Max out crops to 25 in your cap, and minimal other resources and transport wood/copper from your subs to your cap for conscription, in addition to conscription done in your subs. And mobilize troops as needed. Keep subs protected with strong legends all loaded with troops, with minimal idle troops. Otherwise your opponent can capture your sub and use your own captured troops against you.

  9. the idea is to keep all you powerful legends in the city with troops, now it can be your sub so your best defence is in your sub, the whole point is to have a powerful sub so a person cant take it in the first place, eif he tries to your best legends fight with all your troops and hopefully save your sub from being taken at all.

  10. here is an idea for a sub, that is used often:
    make a different account, be sure to choose the correct region, and use the tasks to set up a sub city ( usually a resource sub- almost all houses, and maxed out recs ), be sure to make a stable, relay base, and ally
    this is a great way to make a sub city for extra recs, being as the new city cannot be attacked for 7 days!

  12. Some mechanics please: How do you move legends between cities?
    I am looking to transfer some legends to my sub and don't see any buttons that do that.

  13. You click on the sub you want to send troops, from the city you want to send them from, and click DISPATCH and you dispatch your legends with troops . *with at least one troop attached to it. there you go.

  16. king of hearts, they mean "death factory means nothing but resources, villages, and a hell load of garrisons and parade grounds! it's like a freaking army factory. have 2 legends there, one for gov. and defence, one for attacking.
